Kinga Surma began her political career in 2010 working on the Toronto Mayoral Election which resulted in her being hired at City Hall during Rob Ford's Mayorship.

In 2014, Kinga ran a formidable campaign as a City Council candidate in the Toronto Municipal Election. After the election, Kinga was hired to manage Ontario PC Party Leadership Candidate Christine Elliot's campaign tour, a position that led to the role of Caucus Relations in the office of Patrick Brown, Leader of the Official Opposition.

In the 2016 Scarborough-Rouge River By-election, Kinga played a pivotal role in Conservative MPP Raymond Cho's successful bid – a riding which had been held by the Liberals since 1999.

Throughout her involvement in politics, Kinga has worked on elections at all three levels of government. Her comprehensive knowledge of municipal, provincial and federal orders of government has allowed her to effectively address the concerns of Etobicoke residents. Kinga is action-focused and results-oriented.

Kinga came to Canada from Poland when she was 4 years old. As a successful immigrant and Canadian citizen, she understands the challenges that newcomers face when beginning their life in Canada.

Kinga holds a degree in Public Policy, Business and Commerce from the University of Guelph as well as a Public Relations degree from Ryerson University.
